Pinnac Energy: puretan's patented circuitry
design (reg. #. 2,438,372 issued March 27, 2001)
provides equal distribution of power throughout
a puretan system. Pinnac Energy features
"floating capacitor discharges" which prevent the
daisy chain effect. In our tanning systems the
capacitors power up and then equally distribute
the power to three lamp ballasts (three lamps per
capacitor). This allows the client to develop an
even tan. You will not find the type of
technological breakthrough in other tanning beds.
O3I: Optimum Overlap Output
Intensity lamps incorporate the
power of reflected light to produce
overlapping tanning rays. The use
of reflectors means better tans
because it hinders the escape of UV
light and eliminates unattractive
"striping". Other tanning beds do
not offer you this overlap design
which could translate into poor tans
for your customers.
And It's All Because puretan
Systems Maintain Efficiency
Over the course of a tanning session,
UV lamps lose a certain amount of their
power. While many beds claim to reach
high levels of MED, they cannot
maintain that level of performance. As
shown on the graph at right, puretan
systems, powered by Pinnac Energy
(navy blue line) offer significantly less
performance degradation than systems
utilizing magnetic (royal blue line) or
choke series ballasts (light blue line.)

reaches 4.0 MED 6 minutes faster. The

70% of its original output is as efficient
as others' 100%!
